The silent laughter of the devil

The silent laughter of the devil

There are many reasons why the Devil laughs at us. For example, for the efforts to build peace by weapons, wars and violence. Certainly our concept of goodness and holiness, dogmas, which from time immemorial wets the hands in human blood, seems very laughable to him.

Jesus apparently chased the devil out of this world – or was it vice versa? Didn’t the devil chase Jesus off? But what does it matter how it was recorded?! People twist the truth from time immemorial! Just take a look around and using common sense you can deduce that it was Jesus who had to take off.

So what that the devil laughs at humans? The devil looks for the mistakes of the weak and the stupid, so he can mock the whole race of Adam. The devil is always in search of a path that will lead him to his goal – and the path is difficult and tortuous; a path through the control of fools and simpletons. The devil zigzags like a hare between stones that cannot be overcome. Just imagine it vividly – isn’t it funny?
